Uday Singh has been appointed at Praxair India as General Manager -- Quality Implementation and Information technology. As GM, Singh is responsible for the Information Technology and Quality System initiatives for Praxair India.Prior to joining Praxair India, Singh was a management consultant for a number of large Indian companies and MNCs for IT, Change Management & Quality Management Systems.

Besides, he has worked with Jindal Vijaynagar Steel Ltd, SAIL and MECON in various capacities, in the areas of management services including IT and Quality Management Systems, as well as design, consultancy, testing, commissioning and project implementation.

A graduate in Electrical Engineering and Automation Engineering from BIT-Mesra, Singh is a fellow of Institution of Engineers, TQM forum and the Confederation of Indian Industry.

Osmond D'Mello joins Optima

Osmond D'Mello has joined Optima as National Media Director, Buying. Based in Bangalore, he will beheading the media buying division for both MAA Bozell clients and independent clients of Optima.

Osmond has worked in senior capacities previously with Lintas, O&M, Madison, HTA, McCann and M&C Saatchi (Dubai). He brings with him enormous knowledge, experience and goodwill in the critical area of media buying which today has emerged as the foremost requirement for clients across the country.

N Sadasivan has been appointed as the new Chief General Manager of State Bank of India, Bangalore Circle. Prior to his current assignment, Sadasivan has held various assignments as Deputy General Manager, Overseas Branch, Bangalore and General Manager, Central Office, Mumbai. He was also deputed to Chicago in the United States.
