HongKong Bank to launch car-finance scheme

HongKong Bank on Thursday announced the launch of a new car finance scheme under which it will extend loans in the Rs 25,000 to Rs 25 lakh band spread over tenors ranging between one and five years. The bank will also introduce a home loan scheme some time later this year. Customers can now of avail of loans at competitive rates. There will no processing fee and up to 25 per cent of the loan amount can be repaid every year without attracting any penal interest.HongKong Bank deputy chief executive officer Zarir J Cama said: "The launch of this user-friendly car loan scheme widens the range of products and services offered by HongKong Bank to customers and underlines its commitment to developing personal banking services further." HongKong Bank has started to strengthen its personal banking products and services. It has launched "Assetlink", a loan against shares schemes.
