US-64 garners Rs 3,105 crore in July for UTI
Unit Trust Of India's (UTI) flagship US-64 scheme has mopped up Rs 3,105 crore during its special-offer period in July. This marks a 30% increase over the collections recorded in July, 1997.
Kothari Pioneer MF to launch country's first infotech fund
Kothari Pioneer Mutual Fund (KPMF) will launch the country's first information-technology fund on August 10 for domestic investors. It will be an open-ended fund with an entry load of three per cent.
Sensex plunges 98 points on regional woes
Equities took a fresh beating on Monday as a fresh fall in regional markets took a heavy toll on sentiment. The nervousness in the market saw the 30-share BSE Sensitive Index breach its support level of 3,140 points to close at 3,112.95 points, a net loss of 98.36 points.
