Grover Vineyards unveils new wine brand

After test marketing their new wine, Demi-Sec Rose in Bangalore, Grover Vineyards, has launched the product nationally. Made from fully ripe grapes, Demi-Sec Rose undergoes a slow fermentation and retains part of the natural sugar, thus giving the wine the pleasantness of natural fructose. Priced at Rs 315 for a 750ml bottle, the product is available at all leading wine shops, restaurants and clubs. Besides Demi-Sec Rose, Grover Vineyards also has Red, White and dry Rose wines in the Indian market.

Britannia relaunches Nice brand

Britannia Industries Ltd recently relaunched its Nice brand of biscuits. Renamed Britannia Nice Time, the product comes in an enhanced flavour owing to the addition of coconut milk. The product comes in a gold and silver packaging, which retains the freshness of the biscuits as well. Britannia Nice Time is priced at Rs 20.50 for the 200g pack and Rs 7.25 for the 100g pack.

Membrane Technologies water purifier:

The recently formed Membrane Technologies Ltd has announced the launch of a domestic water purifier. Christened Team-nil B-Pure Water for Homes, the product uses the ultra filter hollow fiber membrane technology. The pore size of the fibre employed by Team nil-B is 20 times smaller than the size of the smallest bacteria, claims the company. Simple to operate, the filter does not work on electricity and chemicals.

Today's Writing Products launches jotter refill pens:

The Rs 60-crore Today's Writing Products Ltd has launched the Zotter range of jotter refill pens in the domestic market. The zotter range comes in various designs both in metallic as well as foil bodies. The product is available in four variants -- Supreme, Classic, Designer and Twisty -- priced in the Rs 9 to Rs 14 range. The company also has on offer, a gift set of one Classic Zotter and refill, priced at Rs 21. The product boasts of a special German ink for a smudge free, long-lasting refill.

Maniyar Plast ladder:

The `house of Maniyar' has launched a unique home product -- a light and electrical shock proof ladder for domestic use. This is especially suited for housewives and helps them fetch jars kept away from children, store away their woolens or simply to make the servant to clean the roof or the fan. This `Ladies Ladder' is friendly to all weathers and has a standing height of two feet (with a step in the centre to aid climbing). It is light weight (3.5 Kgs) and does not have any sharp edges where sarees might get entangled with.
