BSE receives 3,000 investor complaints

MUMBAI, Sept 3: BSE received 3,000 complaints against 610 listed companies, during last month, while it resolved 3,584 complaints including those brought forward from the previous periods. The largest number of complaints (1426) received were for non-receipt of share or debenture certificates after transfer, endorsement or conversion and bonus shares, while 893 complaints concerned non-receipt of dividend or interest. Meanwhile, Padmini Poly, Rolta India, Prakash Industries, Motorol (I) Ltd, Thapar Milk Pdts, Vatsa Corp, K G Denim, NEPC India, Paam Pharma and Prudential Cap topped the list of 20 companies ranked on the basis of number of complaints received during the month.
