Indo Mobil to supply lubes to Maruti Udyog: Indo Mobil Ltd will provide lubricants for Maruti Udyog Ltd's (MUL) new Zen Diesel. Under the partnership, Maruti will primarily be using Mobil Delvac High performance Multi, an advanced diesel engine oil. This is the first tie-up of its kind between Maruti and Mobil. Maruti also has a tie-up with Indian Oil Corporation for its lubricant Servo.

Seagram India announces awards for the Sahara Cup: Seagram India has announced two awards, the Royal Stag man-of-the-match and Royal Stag man-of-the-series, for the forthcoming Sahara Cup between India and Pakistan, to be played at Toronto in Canada. This is the third consecutive year that Seagram will be associated with the cup. The man-of-the-match for each of the five matches will receive a cheque worth US$ 1,000 plus the trophy and the man-of-the-series will receive US$ 5,000 and the award.

Camlin launches marker pens: Camlin Ltd has launched a range of paint markers for the first time in the domestic market. Paint markers are supposed to make marking on difficult surfaces easy and can be used for marking on marble, plastic, wood, ceramic, glass, steel, aluminium and acrylic. The company hopes the product will find takers among steel, chemical, electronics, shipping industries as well as for decorative uses. The pens are available in white, yellow, blue, red, green, gold, silver and are priced at Rs 47.

Vishal Chairs unveils new ware: Vishal Chairs Ltd has introduced scientifically and ergonomically designed chairs to offset strained backs. The synchronous mechanism ensures that a person is always seated in the right position, irrespective of what he/she is doing. Based on the concept of dynamic sitting the chairs are priced between Rs 3,000 to Rs 40,000. According to the company, a number of corporate clients have already purchased their chairs.

ESPN revises per subscriber price by Rs 1.30: ESPN has revised the per subscriber per month by Rs 1.30, with effect from September 1. The annual cable service contracts for the sports channel, between Modi Entertainment Network and the cable operators, are up for renewal during this time. The increase in production and acquisition costs of sporting events have forced ESPN to hike the rates, after 15 months.

National Awards for printing excellence announced: The All India Federation of Master Printers, the apex body of the printing industry, has announced the introduction of the national awards for excellence in printing. The competition is open to printers and organisations involved in creation or production of print communication including news papers. The awards have been constituted to commend the progress made by the industry.
