Asia lags far behind in Net revolution
The Internet may be a great leveller. But getting hooked onto it is not an even race. Experts at the four-day India Internet World conference in New Delhi last month predicted a shift from the industrial age to a digital era, but there were enough signs that it would take a while for the globe to become a cybernetic village.

As transport and communication make the world smaller, all markets tend to go global and the art market is no exception. We have seen the global art market open up to contemporary Indian art in the past ten years or so, and today, both Anish Kapoor and Dhruva Mistry figure as British artists.
Metro realty market to decline further
The real estate market, which has seen a downward trend since 1995, will continue its slide, much to the relief of the common man. Colliers Jardine's latest report points out that the metro markets may decline further to the extent of 5% to 6% in the next six months.
