AI, Singapore Airlines sign code-sharing pact: Air India and Singapore Airlines have entered into a code-sharing agreement through which AI's passengers can fly to Los Angeles from India using SA's daily flights from October 1, thus establishing AI's presence in the US west coast. Los Angeles will be the fourth station in the US for AI, which has flights to New York, Chicago and a similar code-sharing arrangement with the United Airlines to operate to Washington. Under the agreement, SA will allot a block of 80 seats per week to AI, in each direction, on their daily Singapore-Los Angeles-Singapore flights.SAP user conference: SAP, the global provider of integrated end-to-end business application solutions, will stage the Asia Pacific leg of its Sapphire user conference at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Australia, from November 8 to November 11. JP Foundaries certification: The Belagum-based JP Foundries has received the ISO 9002 certification from TUV Bayern, Mumbai. The company produces graded, small batch, quality iron castings. It produces castings for compressors, diesel engines, printing machines, machine tools valves in the weight range of 100g to 250 kgs by sand and shell sand process.
Wipro GE-Medical expansion:
Wipro GE-Medical Systems has announced the expansion of its hi-speed CT product line to include three new products - hi-speed DX/i, FX/i and LX/i. These scanners join the existing CT/i scanner in the domestic market. The expansion of the product line is to provide increased productivity, image quality and advanced applications independent of the size of the department. According to chief executive (CT & imports) CR Sahu the new line will significantlyadvance the clinitical use and diagonistic power of CT in hands of Indian radiologists.

The Bangalore-based Coromandal Food Products has introduced frozen shelled green peas called Green Gold in polythene bags. The company in a release claims that the peas are irrigated with fresh water in dustfree atmosphere with only organic manure and processed with most advanced freezing equipment. As part of its future plans it is planning to launch frozen mixed vegetables, cauliflowers, fruits and ready to fry and eat products soon.
