Code for computer training institutes on the cards

PUNE, Sept 22: The National Association of Computer Trainers, an organisation representing computer training institutes in the country, is in the process of formulating a code of conduct for its members. This code of conduct, once in place, will ensure minimum standards for computer training institutes across the country. The three member group, which is working on the formation of the code of conduct norms, expects the model code to be ready in the coming three months, National Association of Computer Trainers president Suresh G Bharwani said.The National Association of Computer Trainers is also seeking industry status for itself. This is being done with a view to facilitate the association in accessing bank loans to meet its working capital needs. Bharwani, who was recently in Pune to inaugurate a `Training the trainers' programme, said the National Association of Computer Trainers has 950 members in seven regional chapters accross the country.
