Fund managers scout for IT multi-baggers
Fund managers are on the look out for fresh investment opportunities in the information technology sector even as opinion is clearly divided on the growth potential of IT heavyweights on the bourses. On the other hand, some fund managers are of the view that these IT heavyweights have entered a phase of consolidation and will move up once that phase is over.
Do not neglect the cost factor as it can make or mar your returns

The former suggests that you should buy into a fund with a strong performance record. On the contrary, the latter pitches in favour of costs and cheaper management charges to enhance total return.
Use correction to pick up stocks with potential
The Sensex closed the week on a subdued note, losing 1.7 points over Thursday's closing. A wave of profit-taking has swept the global stock markets, with most of the markets losing around 2.5 per cent to 3 per cent on Friday.
