Grasim-Indian Rayon demerger deal share entitlement pegged at 3:10
The boards of Grasim Industries and Indian Rayon on Monday approved the share entitlement ratio for the transfer of Indian Rayon's cement business to Grasim, under which shareholders/GDR holders of Indian Rayon will be issued three shares/GDRs of Grasim for every 10 shares held.

Central India Coal project cleared with condition
The Union defence ministry has approved the Central India Coal Company's (Cicco) mining project, provided it is carried out three kilometers away from the boundary of the ordnance factory at Chanda. The project had run into rough weather as it was argued that the coal mine was situated near the ordnance factory.

SEBI may initiate prosecution action against Lever
SEBI is likely to initiate prosecution proceedings against Hindustan Lever, its former chairman SM Datta, current chairman KB Dadiseth and three directors. The move follows a stay on the appellate authority order which had said that SEBI's order for prosecution was not based on conclusive determination of all aspects of insider trading and on specific justification in terms of the gravity of the offence.
