Citizen Watches unveils Eco-Drive collectionCitizen Watches India is introducing its exclusive range of light-powered watches, Eco-Drive, in the country. As part of the New Millennium range of watches, Eco-Drive generates its own power using light energy from any source of ambient light. A powerful ion-lithium system stores the energy that drives the watch. Eco-Drive is available in lightweight, scratch-resistant titanium and nickel-safe stainless steel and range from Rs 6,800 to Rs 15,000.
BPL introduces a range of digital products: Consumer-electronics major BPL has introduced a range of digital products in the domestic market. The new offerings include two new colour-television models with features like plug and play, program indexing, icon menu, PIP and zoom. Four new refrigerators and audio systems, three washing machines, a digital camera, and clothes driers are the other products being launched. These products have been developed through BPL's tie-up with global industryleaders.
Ninth advertising conference in Bangalore: The three-day 9th All India Advertising Conference will be held at Bangalore from October 29. The theme of the Conference is "Advertising: The Competitive Advantage". Sushma Swaraj, union minister for information and broadcasting Sushma Swaraj will inaugurate the function. HLL chairman KB Dadiseth will deliver the keynote speech at the inaugural session. The conference is being organised by The Indian Society of Advertisers.
McDonald's launches Manpasand and Happy Meals: McDonald's Family Restaurants, Mumbai has launched Manpasand Meals and Happy Meals, priced at Rs 41 and Rs 49 respectively. Customers can choose between McAloo tikki burger and McChicken kabab burger which are priced Rs 24 and Rs 29 extra.
