Wipro and Netscape have launched three new products: Netscape Messaging Server 4.0 Hosting Edition; a high performance messaging server software formerly codenamed `Troopers ISP'; Netscape Delegated Administrator, a directory-based application that provides companies with the ability to privately view and manage their hosted users and groups; and Netscape Messenger Express 4.0, a highly scalable Web-based e-mail solution that supports hosted roaming services as well as advertising based `freemail'services.

``Netscape's next-generation hosting solution will enable the world's largest service providers to deploy value-added services such as Web-based email, unified messaging, hosted Intranets and business-to-business e-commerce,'' claimed Korak Mitra, vice president of Internet Messaging & Hosting Division at Netscape Communications.

Hosting Edition and Netscape Delegated Administrator provide the carrier-grade scalability and reliability ISPs need to offer `dial-tone' quality Internet services to millions of users.''For prospective ISPs and telecom companies, Wipro showcased Wipro Convergent Billing, an integrated customer care product which is a reliable, robust and flexible billing engine. ``A Client-Server application based on open standards, Internet and Object technology, Wipro Convergent Billing allows for easy scalability and wider access,'' the company claimed.

The company also announced that it will provide services and complementary products through itsnet.profit framework to enable basic and advanced hosted services for ISPs. According to Wipro Software Products division general manager Manoj Punja,: ``Wipro can help prospective ISPs with a full range of services, including installation, configuration, implementation, integration and support for the Netscape Hosting Edition and E-Commerce products.''
