Body Shop plans change as sales slip

London, Oct 22: British "green" cosmetics group The Body Shop Plc said on Thursday sales from existing stores slipped two percent in the six weeks since the half year end on August 29 and said it planned major changes.The company, founded by pro-environmentalist Anita Roddick, turned in half year pre-tax profits of 9.0 million pounds ($15.33 million) excluding exceptionals, down 27 per cent from a year ago, and paid out an interim dividend of 1.9 pence per share, up from 1.8 pence.
