RCF plans to set up jetties on east, west coasts
Fertiliser major Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilisers (RCF) will set up jetties on the country's eastern and western coasts to facilitate its trading business. As a first step, the company has sought the Vishakhapatnam Port Trust's permission for acquiring a jetty to promote its trading business on the eastern coast.
Centre opts for domestic issue of Concor shares
The Centre has decided against disinvesting Container Corporation of India (Concor) shares in the international market through a GDR issue, according to Union finance minister Yashwant Sinha.The offering will be confined to a domestic issue, he added.
TVS Suzuki net spurts 27% to Rs 43 crore in first half
TVS Suzuki has posted a 27% jump in its bottomline for the first six months of the current fiscal 1998-99 on a turnover which increased by 28%. The net profit after providing for tax works out to Rs 43.49 crore (Rs 34.25 crore).
