FIIs pull out $5.8 m

New Delhi, Nov 10: Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have taken out $ 5.8 million from the bourses during the period ended November 10. For the week ended November 6, while gross purchases were at Rs 253.7 crore, gross sales were at Rs 267.7 crore, leading to a outflow of Rs 14 crore or $ 3.3 million. According to the latest FII figures released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), FIIs had a net inflow figure of Rs 16.3 crore or $ 3.8 million in the equities segment during the week to November 6. In this segment while gross purchases by FIIs were at Rs 253.7 crore, gross sales were at Rs 237.4 crore.In the debt segment, during the week, net outflow was at Rs 30.3 crore or $ 7.2 million with the FIIs selling debt instruments worth the same value and not making any purchases. According to Sebi figures, during October gross purchases by FIIs was Rs 1073.7 crore while gross sales was Rs 1672.2 crore, giving a net outflow of Rs 598.4 crore.
