Oriental Seritech moves into Rallis' fold from Tata Industries
The Tata group has transferred Tata Industries-owned Oriental Seritech, which was established as the world's largest integrated silk project, to group associate Rallis India. Oriental Seritech, based at Nasik in Maharashtra, is a silk yarn-growing company, the pioneer of bivoltine-silk technology.
Svedala to pump in $14 million, says acquisition drive on track
Swedish capital goods major, Svedala Industry AB, will hike its investment in India by bringing in an additional $10 million to $14 million. The group has invested $4 million last year in setting up a construction equipment manufacturing unit in Bawal, Haryana, through its 100% owned subsidiary, Svedala India.
Mafatlal sells Nocil offices, other floors at Mafatlal Centre
Mafatlal Industries has sold four floors of the company's prime property at Mafatlal Centre, Nairman Point in south Mumbai, each measuring 15,645 sq feet, to private investment and trading companies. The deal, which also includes Nocil corporate offices located at the Nariman Point building is worth Rs 107.2 crore.
