Banks, institutions bid for Concor at Rs 250 a share
Banks and financial institutions (FIs) led by the State Bank of India (SBI) have bid for the Concor disinvestment issue at Rs 250. Book-building for the issue closed today, and the pricing for the issue will be decided on November 16 and the allocation will take place on the same day.
Kothari Pioneer equity funds' NAVs fall in Oct
The net asset values of equity funds from Kothari Pioneer have shown a decline during the month of October which was marked by the dominance of US '64 fiasco and its impact on the equity markets. This included the one of the largest single-day drop of 225 points.
FIIs spare Corp Bank, hike holding to 14.48%
Foreign institutional investors continue to repose their faith in Corporation Bank notwithstanding the substantial withdrawal of funds by FIIs from the Indian market. The FII holding in the bank has increased by 80% from around 8.3% in March, 1998 to 14.48% as on October 20, 1998, according to bank officials.
