Cryoking, US firm forge alliance

Bangalore, Nov 17: The Bangalore-based CryoKing has entered into an alliance with Cryogenic International of the US to offer deep cryogenic processing facility in the country. Deep cryogenic processing, an advanced industrial application, is the methodology of `ultra low temparature' processing of materials to enhance their properties. "The treatment improves material strength, stability and resistance," CryoKing director Avinash Gupta said.Ideal for enhancing both new or used tools and components, the process is cost-effective and saves time and money by decreasing down-time, replacement and maintenance costs, the company said. CryoKing is setting up nine centres across the country to offer such services with an investment of Rs 20 crore. The centres will be located at Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Nashik, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi. CryoKing is promoted by Srichand G Bajaj and Avinash Gupta.
