Arunachalam, the visionary of Sunrise Industrials with his vast experience of over 40 years in this field gave the right direction to this pioneering enterprise. Capitalising on this strong foothold, Mr. A. Narasimhan, Managing Partner along with his partner Mr. Gangadharan exported about 400 powerlooms to Indonesia in 1975.

The unit has been recognised as a small scale industry by the Govt. of Karnataka, Dept. of Industries and Commerce in Bangalore and is also registered with Karnataka State Financial Corporation, Orissa State Financial Corporation, etc., Tamilnadu Textile Corporation is one among the many esteemed clients of Sunrise Textiles where it had supplied nearly 1, 200powerlooms of different sizes.

They are one of the largest supplier of powerlooms to a huge clientele in Tamilnad and also in Kerala. Their state-of-the-art work unit spread over 2, 000 sq.mtrs with 400 skilled employees have the potential to manufacture 2, 500 powerlooms every year.

The Sunrise Industrials currently manufacture Powerlooms over pick and under pick, Drop Box Looms over pick and under pick, Automatic Pirn Changing Looms, Circular Looms, 'SR' Type Special Drop Box Looms, Hollow Cop Winders, Direct Warping and Pirn Winding Machines for HDPE / PP, Double Roller Cotton Gins and Dobbies 8 to 40 shafts.

The unit is the only manufacturer of Blanket Looms in India and has exported looms to Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Kenya. The turnover for the year 96-97 is Rs. 2, 55, 69, 096 and have now diversified to establish an Open End Spinning Mill at Hosur. Mr. A. Narasimhan, the Managing Director has plans of doing much more in this industry and it would be just a matter of time before SunriseIndustrials sets another milestone.
