Mumbai, Dec 28: India Index Services & Products Ltd (IISL), a joint venture of NSE & CRISIL, has effected changes in various indices maintained by the company. The sub-committee on maintenance of these indices met on December 28 to make the changes.
The committee has not recommended any changes in S&P CNX Nifty. The CNX Nifty Junior has included Corporation Bank and Novartis (India) into the index with the exclusion of Sundaram Fasteners and Sundaram Finance.
Some of the companies included in the S&P CNX 500 Equity Index are Cholamandalam Investment & Finance, Corporation Bank, Eicher, Eveready Industries, ICICI Banking, Vysya Band and Avery India among others. Sixteen new companies have made way into this index with the same number getting excluded.
Some of the companies excluded from the index are Modern Terry Towels, Amrut Industries, Orkay Industries, 20th Century Finance and Western India Industries among others.
Companies that have been included in CNX midcap 200 index are Arvind Mills, AshokLeyland, Corporation Bank, Eveready Industries, Honda Siel Power Products Ltd, Parke-Davis, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and MRF among others. Some of the companies excluded are Bharat Bijlee, Ceat, JK Corp, JCT Ltd, Kajaria Ceramics, and Usha (India) among others.
Companies included in the CNX Indian Business Groups Index are George Williamson (Assam), India Foils, Eveready Industries, Kitply Industries, Lupin Chemicals, Siel Ltd and TVS Electronics among others. The companies excluded from this list are Modern Terry Towels and Syntex, Parasrampuria Synthetics and Rajinder Steels among others.
Two companies have been included in the CNX MNC Index one of which is Bausch & Lomb while the two companies excluded from this index are Widia (India) and Sandvik Asia. The company included in the CNX PSE Index is IBP Co and the one excluded from the PSE Index is ITI Ltd.
