Intel to introduce new processors

Jan 5: Intel corporation on Tuesday announced introduction of two new processors that enable PC users to handle everything from the internet to educational programmes and interactive games. "The new intel celeron processors at 400 and 366 mhz are the first of many new low-cost PC desktop and mobile products from Intel in 1999, and they help reinforce Intel's leadership in this market segment worldwide," said Intel India's general manager (marketing) Kanwaljit Singh. He said, "Intel is also enhancing its offerings in this market segment with the new Intel 440zx Agpset, a product designed to offer enhanced performance and flexibility to low-cost PC systems."Copyright © 1999 Indian Express Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd.
