ONGC to replace NTPC as partner in IOC's Gujarat project
The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will replace National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) in the Rs 1700-crore refinery residue-based power project being promoted by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in Gujarat.
Centre hikes customs duty on sugar by 15 per cent
The Centre has decided to increase the basic customs duty on sugar imports from 5 to 20 per cent ad-valorem. But the additional duty of customs per tonne is unchanged at Rs 850.
IOC to offload 5 per cent equity in local market
The Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) will hit the domestic market to offload five per cent of Government equity in March next as part of the disinvestment drive.
