Reserve Bank spikes Khan panel suggestions
The Reserve Bank of India has ruled out any change in the role of development finance institutions (DFIs) in the immediate future. The issue of DFIs transforming into banks should be taken up after five years, the RBI said in its discussion paper on "harmonising the role and the operations of DFIs and banks" released on Wednesday.
Sinha may trim subsidies in Budget
