Reserve Bank sets up committee to revive state-run banks
The Reserve Bank of India on Monday set up a working group under the chairmanship of former State Bank of India chairman MS Verma to suggest measures for revival of weak public sector banks. The committee will submit its report by June 30.

Spend more on infrastructure : Andhra Chamber
Andhra Chamber of Commerce has requested union finance minister Yaswant Sinha to increase spending on infrastructure projects and facilitate industrial and economic growth.

Housing industry may get slew of concessions
The finance ministry is likely to announce a host of fiscal concessions to the housing industry in the forthcoming budget. The concessions may include exemption in investments of unaccounted money in the sector, though for a period of one year.
