Open-ended tax saver from Alliance
Alliance Capital Asset Management is all set to launch its second tax saver, Alliance Capital Tax Relief (ACTR) in March. The fund, to be launched on March 1, will be an open-end scheme, which will offer tax concessions under section 88.
Wheat dara rises on weak arrivals; bullion divergent
Rabi wheat crop is likely to be affected due to rains followed by hailstorms in many parts of MP and on fall in arrival of wheat from the neighbouring states, wheat dara, climbed up from Rs 695-715 to Rs 715-725 a quintal and roller flour mill atta, maida and suji which on January 28, ruled at Rs 660, Rs 725 and Rs 760, moved up by Rs 5-20 at Rs 710, Rs 770 and Rs 800 per bag, respectively. Upcountry demand in maida and suji was reported strong.
