Poor response forces MTNL to scrap buyback
The Mahanagar Telephone Nigam has dropped its plan to buyback about three million shares. The MTNL board has unanimously decided to shelve the proposal in view of adverse feedback from investors and the fate of Videsh Sanchar Nigam's global depository reciept.
TVS-Suzuki to make 4-stroke matorcycle at its Mysore plant
TVS-Suzuki, the country's second largest two-wheeler manufacturer, will produce its new four-stroke motorcycle at its Mysore plant. The decision to manufacture the motorcycle at its Mysore plant will save TVS-Suzuki an investment to the tune of Rs 50 crore.
Herbertsons denies Chhabrias allegations on fund diversion
Vijay Mallya's UB group on Tuesday refuted allegations made by the Kishore Chhabria group of financial irregularities in Herbertsons and said the Chhabrias were trying to divert attention from the fact that the accounts of BDA are not in order since the last three years.
