Bangalore, Feb 25: The Rs 24-crore Eurolink Systems Ltd has forged an alliance with QAI India to form Blue Litmus Corporation (BLC) that will be the first one-source testing resource centre in the country.Both the companies will have an equal equity holding in the new entity that will be based in New Delhi. BLC offers a range of testing services like assessment of test maturity, testing consultancy and planning and execution of tests, including testing automation.
Eurolink Systems chief executive officer NV Maslekar said the company is yet to finalise the investment plans for the new venture. "However, it could be in the range of Rs 2 to 5 crore," he added.
"BLC studies the customer's existing test practices, understands their requirements and performs risk assessment to arrive at a test model suited to the customer's environment," he said.
Expansion plans of BLC include setting up of a research and development (R&D) centre and test lab in the country. The services of the company are supported by a team of professionals with diverse expertise and heterogeneous hardware and software platforms.
QAI India is a joint venture between the US-based QAI and Intecos of New Delhi. QAI India offers services in process improvements in organisations by providing consultancy, training and tools. The company also assists in the implementation of ISO 9000 quality systems and for acquiring SEI-CMM assessments.
Eurolink provides IT services in areas like manufacturing and distribution, Internet and e-commerce, telecom, finance, banking and insurance. Currently the company has subsidiaries in the US and UK a marketing office in Singapore.
