Mumbai, Feb 25: The directors of Navneet Publications (India) Ltd have recommended a dividend of 25 per cent for the financial year ended September 30 1998.According to a release, the turnover of the company has increased marginally from Rs 111.26 crore for the year ended September 30 1997 to Rs 115.72 crore for the year ended September 30 1998. Similarly, the net profit has shown a decent appreciation of 38 per cent from Rs 12.88 crore to Rs 17.75 crore. The earning per share has also gone up from Rs 13.52 to Rs 18.62.
The company has decided to open the chain book stores throughout the country and has made a foray into electronic publishing with the launch of their first interactive CD-Rom, titled `The World of Talking Pictures'.
