At least 80% of people using computers suffer from computer vision syndrome. Though the figures could be higher, studies reveal that 93% of IIT Bombayites suffer from it, the latest eye disease that has come to being thanks to sitting before the computer for hours at a time.
Excelsia launches biscuits in pillow pouch
Delhi-based Excelsia Foods Ltd, a joint venture between Dabur India, and Osem International of Israel has launched Kidz-- biscuits in the shape of animals -- in Bombay after test marketing the product for about a month or so in the Capital. The product is unique for two reasons: one, this is the first animal shaped biscuit in the market and two, for the first time biscuits have been packaged in pillow pouches.
Rajasthan to set up website to promote handicrafts
Indo-Bazar may soon be available on the internet to promote sales of traditional handicrafts from Rajasthan. In this connection, CIStems Software Ltd, a leading company engaged in the training of information technology and development of software, has offered to float a joint venture company with RSSIC (Rajasthan State Small Industries Corporation Ltd).
