Kochi SE mulls stock lending; plans expansion
The Cochin Stock Exchange Ltd (CxSE) is mulling options to kick off stock lending facility. The stock exchange has called an extra-ordinary general body meeting (EGM) of its shareholders to seek permission to hive off some of its landed assets to raise finances for setting up a trade guarantee fund (TGF).
NSE, Yahoo tie up to display stock quotes
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has pulled off a coup by forging a tie-up with Yahoo.com, the world's most popular web site and search engine, to display quotes on a real-time basis. Yahoo will pay a fee to the NSE for hosting the exchange's quotes.
Dundee Mutual Fund plans real estate, bullion and bond scheme
Dundee Investment Management & Research, the asset management company of the Dundee mutual funds, plans to launch a real estate mutual fund and a bullion fund in the current fiscal, subject to approvals. The company also plans to launch a bond fund.
