Sensex has clearly earmarked its upper and lower limits
On Friday March 19, the BSE Sensitive Index closed at 3672 points. The index showed a net loss of 30 points over the close of the previous week. The index movements was mostly sideways during the week.

Stick to value yardstick in chaotic path ahead
I am relieved by the halt in the markets' northward climb. This was very important. Last week, I had pointed out that with a 30% gain it is time to book profits. Willy nilly, the investor gets drawn repeatedly into the vortex of frenzied market activity and he, consciously or otherwise, abandons his discretion.
