Seven bourses expected to join ISE soon
The Inter-Connected Stock Exchange of India (ISE), which commenced live operations from February 26 with participation from four regional stock exchanges, is expecting another seven regional exchanges to join ISE by the end of next week. This will take the number of participating exchanges to 11.

Over 20 software initial public floats to hit market
As many as 20 to 25 software issues are expected to hit the primary market in the next fiscal. Since January, 1999, the price-earnings multiples of software stocks have doubled and investors are looking for software IPOs with low discounting, says Karvy Consultants director Sudhir Rao.

NSE to set up Rs 10cr debt settlement compensation fund
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has decided to set up a Debt Settlement Compensation Fund (DSCF) to financially compensate a clearing member on its wholesale debt segment, against counterparty default. The fund could, to start with, have a corpus of Rs 10 crore.
