New York, Mar 26: Promising quality services to passengers, Air-India has reopened its Los Angeles office, which it had closed over a year ago.The airline said the new office would serve its passengers and travel agents in Los Angeles and surrounding areas and also its passengers on the code share service with Singapore Airlines.
Air-India's code share service with Singapore Airlines enables connections from Singapore to several cities in India, including Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.
The airline said it had also made improvements in its executive class service on the Boeing 747-700 flights by reducing the number of seats from 42 to 34.
As proof of its quality services, it cited that Air-India had won third place in a wine tasting competition conducted by Business Traveller International magazine. Air-India's champagne, ``Veuve Clicquot,'' had a tie in the third place with Icelandair and Aeromexico in the ``10 Best Sparkling Wines'' category, it said. A total of 34airlines participated in the competition, it added.
