MSEB gets cracking on defaulters to recover Rs 2,800 cr
The Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) has decided to crack down on defaulters in a bid to recover arrears amounting to Rs 2,800 crore. A special drive all over the state will be launched from April 1 to May 31.
Ispat to tie up with China Light for power projects holding
The Ispat group is planning to float a new financial services holding company along with the Asian power major, China Light and Power (CLP). This entity will hold a stake in all existing power projects promoted by the Mittals as also new ventures, including some mega power projects.
