Politics plays the villain, Sensex sheds 48 pts
After rising for two consecutive sessions, the Sensex shed 48.63 points or 1.36% due to continued selling pressure from operators. The cloudy political situation led market participants to square up positions prior to the last day of the current settlement on BSE.
Hectic activity inaluminium stocks
Aluminium counters saw hectic activity . Most aluminum scrips opened on a firm note in the morning and, by afternoon, had moved up in line with the general market sentiment.
IFCI plans retail bond issue after 4 yrs
Industrial Development Finance Corporation (IFCI) is planning a retail bond issue in the current fiscal after a gap of about four years. IFCI is also planning to have a rights issue on par in June.
