Maharashtra government plans to give host of concessions for the development of water transport services through private sector participation in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

Ministry cautious over revision of steel floor import price
Once bitten by a set of steel import floor prices that nearly set the Lok Sabha on fire, the Union commerce ministry has decided to run a toothcomb through statistics on international steel prices before revising the December 11 price band fixed for importing steel.

KSEB to incur Rs 840.75-crore capex this fiscal
The Kerala State Electricity Board will incur a whopping Rs 840.75 crore capital expenditure during the 1999-2000 fiscal. This include Rs 236.07 crore for generation, Rs 95.85 crore for transmission and another Rs 240.50 crore for distribution.
