Jakarta, May 31: Indonesia has signed contracts with 12 local companies giving them the rights to exploit coal reserves in return for a share of their production, a mines and energy ministry official said on Monday.Mines and Energy coal director Soedjoko Tirtosoekotjo said three contracts covered East Kalimantan, two Central Kalimantan, four South Kalimantan, one South and central Kalimantan and two in South Sumatra.
