Ranbaxy board likely to elevate Brar as managing director earlier than planned
The board of Ranbaxy Laboratories is likely to meet soon to appoint a new chairman and elevate DS Brar as managing director immediately following the death of its chairman Parvinder Singh on Saturday.

The Department of Telecom (DoT) reportedly declared that the much-awaited calling party principle, which allows free incoming calls on cellular phones, is unlikely to come into effect on August 1.
