``The strong gains made by Cisco Systems was a combination of increased product focus and the investments it made in strengthening its presence throughout the region. In addition to its traditional corporate stronghold, Cisco also made significant strides in the telecommunication and internet service provider segments,'' said IDC Asia-Pacific managing director Dennis Philbin.
The company's RAS technologies are tailored for the new communication requirements where data, voice and video are integrated on a single platform.
