Four-day global jewellery show to be held in Delhi

UNI
New Delhi, July 6: Representatives of the jewellery industry from across the globe would come together at the four-day Delhi International Jewellery and Watch Exhibition being held here from October 22, 1999 (DIJE).

According to managing director of ITE Mukesh Sharma, organiser of the event, said, ``DIJE would provide a strong platform as it has already attracted greater inernational confidence which is reflected in the increased global participation in DIJE.''

ITE, he said, has also decided to organise shows in London, Canada and New York. The London International Jewellery and Watch Exhibition would be held in August this year at Wembley, London.

The company claimed that the previous DIJE held last year had attracted over 100,000 visitors and buyers. Over 100,000 designs in gold, platinum and stones were displayed which was the centre of attraction at the fair.
