New Delhi, July 8: Public sector Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) today asked its vendors to carry out technological upgradation at their end and join the corporate body in evolving a winning strategy for maximising business in a highly competitive market.Inaugurating a two-day vendor partnership meet at Haridwar, BHEL executive director H W Bhatnagar highlighted the importance of participative collaboration to achieve business excellence. ``By sharing the business scenario and issues of mutual interest, BHEL and its vendors through their long standing association, can jointly evolve a winning strategy for maximising business in the present highly competitive market,'' he added.
More than 220 delegates representing 160 companies from all over the world participated in this meet, a company release here said. A number of countries, including UK, Germany, France, Japan, Italy, Belgium, South Korea and Switzerland, discussed issues of mutual interest on ethos, expectations and business perspectives.BHEL also presented papers covering the market environment, business potential for its vendors and the spectrum of material requirements for various BHEL products.
