Come Home to EssarEssar Cellphone's localised airtime tariff plan called Come Home allows a subscriber to avail of a flat airtime rate of Rs 2 per minute when he is in Gurgaon and NOIDA, near Delhi. However, standard airtime rates would be applicable when the subscriber is outside his designated home zone. While subscribing to the plan, the subscriber would be required to pay Rs 50 in addition to the monthly rental of Rs 600.
According to Atanu Mandal, chief marketing officer,``The Come Home plan is an attempt to segment the cellular market at a micro level and service subscribers as per their own set of specific usage patterns.''

Stephen Butler to beKPMG global chief
Steven G Butler will succeed Colin M Sharman as Chairman of KPMG International, the worldwide professional services organisation, when the latter steps down on September 30. Butler will also continue to be Chairman and CEO of KPMG LLP, the US accounting, tax and consulting firm and Chairman of KPMG's recently formed American region. Colin Sharman will continue as advisor to the firm.
