Tata Tea Q1 net dips 33% to Rs 26 cr
Tata Tea has reported a 33.27% decline in net profit to Rs 26.09 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 1999, against Rs 39.10 crore in the corresponding period last year. Income from operations has dropped 4.9% to Rs 213.56 crore from Rs 224.71 crore last year.
Grasim first-quarter net jumps 22% to Rs 59 cr
Grasim Industries, flagship of the Aditya Birla group, has posted a 22% jump in net profit to Rs 59 crore during the first quarter ended June 30, 1999, ended as against Rs 48.2 crore in the same period last year.
Orchid Healthcare targets Rs 30 cr sales
Formulations manufacturer Orchid Healthcare, a division of Orchid Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals, is expecting its sales to touch Rs 30 crore to Rs 40 crore in the current year. The company, which was focussing largely on bulk institutional sales, is now going to look at the prescription market.
