Shell Renewable India has introduced its first product, the Solar Max Home Lighting System in Pollachi in Coimbatore. The Solar Max is the first product which is targeted at shop owners and families which currently rely on kerosene and batteries for lighting. The Solar Max comes in one, two and four lighting systems, and has connection points for a table fan or a black and white television. The system is made of a solar module, a battery, a charge controller, light fixtures and wiring.

Twigs' fall collection

Twigs, active leisure wear label for women, has launched its Fall Collection `99 in Mumbai. Designed for ladies in the age group of 16 to 25, and for women in the age group of 25 to 40, the price ranges from Rs 300 to Rs 500. The Twigs range will be retailed through leading department stores like Crossroads, Amarsons and Replay in Mumbai.
