BoBcards turnover at Rs 36.18 crore

BoBcards Ltd has recorded a rise in its turnover to Rs 36.18 crore in 1998-99 from Rs 25.31 crore in 1997-98, registering a growth of over 40 per cent. In 1998-99. The net profit of the company during the year was Rs 2.26 crore. "Buoyed by a robust performance, the company has decided to appoint direct sales agents to market products," a company official said on Monday . Bobcards was also planning to launch debit cards in the current fiscal.

PSIDC places Rs 30 crore bonds

The Punjab State Industrial Development Corporation has privately placing its one year, Rs 30 crore, 11.25 per cent bonds within a week from the issue opening. The bonds were unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by the government of Punjab and Centrum Finance was the sole arranger for this bond issue.
