Infosys dream run continues; surges past Rs 7,000-mark
Infosys burst through the Rs 7,000 barrier yesteday, rocketting to a new high of Rs 7,074 before closing at Rs 7,060. In the process, the IT major became second only to Hindustan Lever.

RBI may allow PDs to settle funds daily on a net basis
The Reserve Bank of India is examining a proposal to allow settlement of funds at the end of the day on a net basis or grant collaterlised intra-day overdraft facility to players in the government securities market.

CSE likely to seek NSE membership
The Calcutta Stock Exchange, which has received a shot in the arm with the interest shown by regional SEs to take up CSE membership, will now study the feasibility of taking up membership of the NSE, president Kamal Parekh said.
