Arabs may boycott Disney products

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
Dubai, Sept 21: The multi-million dollar Disney Entertainment Products may face boycott in the Arab world after the American company failed to assure Arab governments that Jerusalem will not be shown as the Israeli capital at their millenium exhibition opening next month in Florida.

The Arab league spokesman Talaat Hamid said in Cairo that Disney officials's justifications on the exhibition did not convince the Arab countries.

The Arab foreign ministers meet this week to consider the possibility of boycott of Walt Disney World, which has $100 million sales in the Middle East annually with projections of five-fold growth in the next five years.
