Dewan Housing reduces rates

Mumbai, Sept 23: In the wake of the recent rate cuts by HDFC and GIC housing Finance, the Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Ltd (DHFC) has also announced reduction in interest rates on their housing loan schemes.A company release issued in Mumbai on Thursday said that the 1 per cent reduction in the Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh slab (from 15 per cent to 14 per cent) and the half per cent reduction in the Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000 slab (from 14 per cent to 13.50 per cent) comes into effect from September 24, 1999.
