Lycos, SingTel JV to open India office
The $250-million search engine company Lycos Inc has formed a joint venture with Singapore Telecom and will soon open its office in India, besides several other places in South-East Asia.

Wipro Net to spend Rs 50cr on expansion
Spurred by Dutch telecom giant KPN picking up 45 per cent stake in it, internet service provider Wipro Net has embarked on a Rs 50-crore expansion drive over the next two years and plans to enter the retail segment in several cities by the year-end.
